It is a very good new for BSNL subscribers as BSNL drops price of its 3G data card and now customers can get it only for Rs1600. Actually it is only to promote 3G services by BSNL and BSNL reduces cost of 3G data card so much. Formerly it was being soled at Rs2500 and now it is available only for Rs1600. Thus it is pretty cool decrease in price. Perhaps BSNL has done it to compete with Tata DOCOMO as DOCOMO data card is being sold at Rs1700-1800.
If we talk about Reliance and Vodafone 3G USB modem then these 3G data cards are costlier and available at more than Rs 2500.
There are two BSNL 3G data cards available at 3.2mbps and 7.2mbps.
Linktop LW272 – 3.2mbps (Rs 1600 instead of Rs2200)
Linktop LW273 - 7.2mbps (Rs 2000 )
BSNL also drops price for its CDMA EV-DO 3G data card at now you can get EVDO data card at Rs 1499 instead of Rs 2500.
