Reliance announced a new unlimited plan for its medium speed CDMA 1X internet which is slow but still faster than GPRS. Reliance launched this plan in whole country. But it will not be applied in top 1000 towns so confirm via customer care before using it.
This tariff is available for Rs 169 and it is applicable only for prepaid CDMA users those are using a CDMA device which supports 1X technology. According to Reliance with this plan subscribers will be able to use unlimited internet without any download/upload limitations. And the validity of this tariff will be one month.
Reliance has also cut the price of its CDMA 1X Netconnect USB device and now you can buy it only for Rs. 1099.
Mahesh Prasad, President –Wireless Business, Reliance Communications said There remains abundant headroom for data growth since many regions of the country are still significantly under penetrated and unwired. RCOM‘s strategy is to reach this unconnected hinterland, giving millions of Indians affordable internet usage. In these parts of the country, PC penetration is increasing with the popularity of music and movies online, social networking and email.
