As we should know that Sony Ericsson had declared that he did not upgrade Xperia X10 OS to any further version of Android such as Gingerbread and told that Android 2.1 Eclair would be the final OS of Xperia X10. But now the company has to be agreed and decided to Xperia X10 upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It could be possible due to high demand of Xperia X10 users for Gingerbread.
Company representatives told that Xperia X10 users will be able to upgrade their handset OS via connecting it with PC only and there will be not wire upgrade available.
In spite of all benefits of advanced Android 2.3 Gingerbread there will be some disadvantages for Xperia X10 users after update such as they will not be able to use facial recognition using Gingerbread in Xperia X10 and smile shutter will also not work.
